Arizona Sun Safety Coalition Skin Cancer Screening Event

Skin Cancer Screening:
Scottsdale Healthcare Shea and the Arizona Sun Safety Coalition hosted a skin cancer screening event on Saturday, May 31st from 8a-12:30pm at the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center in Scottsdale. Over 250 participants signed up for the free skin cancer screening event. Kristi Cares would like to thank the coalition for the booth space at the event.

Kristi Cares Melanoma Foundation and Posh Spa and Salon shared a booth at Women's Expo. Posh and Kristi Cares educated attendees on skin cancer prevention and how to have healthy skin. Kristi Cares sold logoed t-shirts were donated by Jenell Ramella, owner of Logo Logistics. The t-shirts were so popular, we need to order more. Kristi Cares also sold pink bracelets and Halo shades that were donated by Marty Watts of Halo Shade. Gina Phalen of SunSational Style donated a Sun Safe gift basket for our "enter to win" contest.
